June 11, 2010 – A great group of Story From a New Friend supports joined us for a night unlike any other. In addition to listening to powerful speakers share their stories of rescue, resilience, and recovery; they became a part of history.
The event offered the unique chance for guests to share their story with Malachi Leopold, director of Academy Award Qualified films, for his latest documentary “Everyone Has a Story” in collaboration with SFANF.
Past speakers who attended include:
Stefanie Cary, who’s father committed suicide and Anne Marie Schlekeway, who is battling ALS – with a 3 year expectancy to live.
Guests enjoyed an evening that offered more than just another night out.
